2nd Line Service Desk Analyst

I am working with one of the UK's largest food production companies that are looking to bring on a Level 2 Service Desk Analyst to their rapidly growing Service Desk team.

Their operations (both physical and IT) are hugely impressive and requires constant monitoring and management.

The IT Service Desk team is a crucial component to the success of the overall operation as they are responsible for keeping everything moving!

As a Level 2 Service Desk Analyst, you will need to demonstrate excellent customer services skills and utilise your IT knowledge to manage a busy support queue.

Time is a critical factor at production sites therefore collecting the correct information at first contact with a user is crucial, to ensure requests are delt with in a professional and timely manner.

You will be based out of their offices based just outside of Burton-On-Trent.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Complete Online Ticket requests
  • Respond to User Requests and Assist and teach Users where appropriate
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnostics
  • Receive and action escalated calls from Service Desk Technicians

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years’ + experience working in an IT support role
  • Experience of Networking and General IT Fault Diagnosis
  • Experience of Office 365, Windows 10, and some Application Software
