Commercial Manager
Commercial ManagerSomerset £55,000 - £60,000+Car Allowance +Bonus We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager, on behalf of our client, a main contractor within the Grounds Maintenance Sector.
This role will be managing the companies Southwest regional contracts, supporting financial planning and performances, reviewing and contributing to tenders and bids for new business with existing and new clients, managing contractual agreements & engagement at all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities - Managing Commercial and contractual specifics & making sure the right levels of protection are in place and entitlement is yielded in the ordinary course of business
- Managing the governance of frameworks, policies and procedures, to the required standards
- Manage Monthly Business Reviews; Consolidating data for all support areas
- Improve efficiency and earnings
- Support the Finance function and provide an independent commercial view on how performance can be enhanced.
- Negotiation and implementation of key subcontract packages
- Collaborating with the Operational Management Teams and peers in the region to ensure that clear plans are in place to deliver short term budgets and Strategic business plans
Requirements- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Commercial Management Experience and Knowledge
- Experience within a contracting business
- Strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS office skills
