You are a Creative Artworker / Designer with a keen eye for style and detail. You are intrigued with how fashion trends influence society including accessories, furniture and homeware. BASIC SALARY: £26,000 to £30,000

This role is based at our Newport Pagnell office, so commutable distances are Aylesbury, Bedford, Bletchley, Buckingham, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Olney, or Towcester.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Creative Artworker / Designer / Graphic Design / Artworker – Home accessories

Graphic Designers are all these things and more....

Working with the Lead Designer you will be responsible for producing the packaging artwork for all products and developing new concepts and ensuring guidelines are followed and updated as required. You will also be involved in New Product Development for all ranges and assisting in the creation of brochures and promotional literature in both digital and print media. You will also assist in the research and preparation of themes and trends and preparing creative pitches as we look to take the brand to new heights with new and existing customers.

We are looking for someone who is adept at digital communication and has some understanding of website design.

An interest in photography would be a definite advantage or if not, the desire to learn this new skill and to become adept at producing quality pack shots and lifestyle imagery for the online footprint.

Some other things youll get involved with are:

· Assist in producing trends, themes, and mood boards for upcoming seasons.
· Prepare digital and print sales materials to support our sales team and customers.
· Take responsibility for the merchandising of our showrooms with the latest seasons products and themes.
· Take ownership of the sampling and cataloguing of new potential product through their life cycle.
· Involvement with the planning and merchandising of trade shows.
· Active involvement in the wider business such as Sales and online teams to assist with campaign development, promotional materials, campaigns, and flyers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Creative Artworker / Designer / Graphic Design / Artworker – Home accessories

To be successful as Creative Artworker / Designer, youll be:

· A multi-tasker, who enjoys working in a "fast-paced" but rewarding environment.
· Someone who has excellent attention to detail.
· Creative and passionate about design.
· A confident presenter who can communicate to others their vision and ideas.
· Be organised and able to undertake the administrative as well as the creative functions.

And you will have:

· Experience using iMacs with a great understanding of software packages, mainly the Adobe Creative Suite.
· A proven track record in a Design Studio, experience of working within a product focused environment - (examples could be, FMCG, Home Fashion, Accessories, Furniture, Kitchen, DIY).
· A knowledge of photography as the role will involve product and lifestyle shots.
