BASIC SALARY: Up to £30,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Multi skilled Junior Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - CNC, CMM, Mechanical
Covering the UK as our Junior Service Engineer, youll be servicing, maintaining and refurbishing / refitting high quality, German manufactured CNC machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Multi skilled Junior Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - CNC, CMM, Mechanical
· Home based Service Engineer role covering clients across the UK (roughly 150 installed base)
· Core hours are Monday to Friday - the vast majority of work within normal working hours and time in lieu offered on occasional late nights.
· Roughly 50/50 split between scheduled maintenance, upgrades and reactionary breakdown & repair. Reaction time can be 24-48 hours, or more depending on availability of parts.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Multi skilled Junior Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - CNC, CMM, Mechanical
· Youre probably qualified to some level (NVQ, ONC, HNC, HND ) in an Engineering discipline. This could be an apprenticeship, college course etc, but youve got to have a solid grounding in mechanical engineering.
· Youve got some real-world experience post education as a Fitter, Service, Maintenance or Workshop Engineer on any form of industrial equipment..... Maybe during a placement year?
· Youve also got a drive to build a career in a service capacity and become an expert in a niche technical field.
