Lead Java Developers for Danske Bank Debt Management

Would you like to be part of one of the highest prioritized projects in Danske Bank in 2023? Are you a Lead Java Developer with a skilled delivery record and an ability to focus on what provides value? Would you like to work in a small, motivated and highly skilled development team? Then we need you!

We are looking for you as a Lead Java Developer to assist build and integrate Danske Banks new debt collection system. You will be joining a small team of very skilled architects, developers and business analysts direct by one of the best project managers in the country.

We believe in building small teams with the right people to avoid too much coordination, admin and wasted time, but this also means that we expect you to be self-driven and proactive in addition to being a solid developer with an engineering mindset.

Overall you will be part of the Debt Management Development department in Danske Bank. We own and operate all debt collection systems in the bank. We run a fairly informal organisation with a flat hierarchy and high flexibility in regards to work location. You will be home based in Lyngby on Parrallelvej 14 right next to Lyngby station.

Your role and responsibility

  • Lead development of implementation of a Commercial Of The Shelf (COTS) product
  • Implementation and configuration of COTS system in collaboration with vendor
  • Build sophisticated integration layer between COTS and surrounding Danske Bank systems, codename "The Squid".
  • Development using a number of different integration patterns, e.g. Pub/Sub, REST etc.
  • Ensure quality of the solution including performance, scalability, stability, maintainability, availability and resilience
  • Actively participate in scrum ceremonies, stand-up, planning, retro etc. collocated in Danske Bank Lyngby office
  • Write/Review source code and document using partially Confluence WIKI,
  • Lead and participate in sharing knowledge among colleagues in the squad
