Web Assistant Product Manager
We are currently looking for a Web Assistant Product Manager to join a leading Life Science company based in the London area. As the Web Assistant Product Manager you will be responsible for working in an agile development team working on the website; defining the scope and priority of ongoing development work to improve the discoverability and differentiation of our reference material and proficiency testing product portfolios on the e-commerce platform.

The goal of the Web Product Management team is to improve user and customer experience, ensuring products are found quickly, product attributes are clear, and sufficient information is provided for users to make a purchase decision. This position presents an opportunity for a Chemist or Life Scientist to step into a commercial role, being able to apply their knowledge to help other scientists find appropriate products. The key duties and responsibilities are:

1. The Web Assistant Product Manager will use their understanding of scientific concepts and an interest in optimising eCommerce experience will be essential to fulfilling the potential of this role. This role is expected to grow into an expert not only on our product portfolio, but also key elements that impact the digital customer journey such as customer segmentation, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), A/B testing, Google Analytics, HotJar, and more.

2. The role is responsible for ensuring all products, categories, and brands online meet the business requirements and supporting creation and upload of additional products including copy, graphics, and downloadable assets

3. As the Web Assistant Product Manager you will maintain a priority list defining the products, categories, and brands to be uploaded on the website including those that should be fully enriched, as well as defining the position on product listing and Generate and collate data from different sources (ERP, CRM, Google Analytics, and more) to deliver reports on key KPIs, including web traffic and revenues.

4. As part of the role you will work with the Digital & Insights team.
