Edge Tech is working exclusively with a small and growing intelligent automation and business improvement consultancy that are looking to hire a Business Development Director to join the team.

Our client works with businesses of all sizes to help them solve their challenges, improve their processes and become more efficient by combining operational excellence methodologies, digital capabilities and technology solutions.

As the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for generating new revenue for our client by utilising your sales skills and network of key decision makers (CXO, Director, Head of, etc). You will build new relationships with organisations as well as current clients, creating and nurturing leads through a number of mediums including cold-calling, email campaigns, events, social media and networking.

You’ll also report sales and financial data, help optimise KPIs and work with our client to set achievable but stretching targets that are aligned with the bigger picture. You will also help to build our client’s communities of transformation, operational excellence and automation experts/leaders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years experience of B2B sales experience
  • Experience having worked for a boutique consulting firm or transformation recruitment company
  • Must have knowledge and have sold services/solutions of at least one of the following: Business Transformation, Business Change, RPA, Intelligent Automation, Conversational AI, IDP, Process Mining etc
  • A strong network of senior decision-makers such as C-level, Director and Head of etc
  • Experience in building or contributing to go-to-market strategies and plans
