Business Development Manager - Education

We’re searching for a Business Development Manager to join a professional body in the exciting and rapidly growing field of academia.

You have a very good understanding of the education sector, awarding and student bodies, enjoy traveling (as this will be required) and you’ll be someone that isn’t afraid to lead the Business Development of all products and services within the business, speaking with stakeholders across the globe in higher education.

This is a varied role where you will be managing a sales team, leading digital marketing campaigns with the support of the digital team, identify new markets / clients (higher education institutions) and participate in fares / conferences around the world.

What are we looking for?

  • Hunter mentality, comfortable and thrive within sales and love the thrill of prospecting both B2B and B2C
  • Proven sales track-record in delivering and exceeding financial targets
  • Experienced in working within the educational and higher educational sector.
  • You will need to be driven, organised, and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload.
  • Have a genuine passion for the world of education, putting the client experience and their learners at the heart of everything you do.

You are going to be treated like the professional you are – no micro-management, no being treated like a child – just support, encouragement, and the tools to do your job in the most effective way.

You will get a salary of £50,000 - £60,000, work in the brand new offices in Victoria, London and have a great commission scheme too.
