We’re searching for a Business Development Manager to join a professional body in the exciting and rapidly growing field of academia.
You’ll have a very good understanding of the education sector and awarding bodies, enjoy traveling (as this will be required) and you’ll be someone that isn’t afraid to lead the Business Development of all products and services within the business, speaking with stakeholders across the globe in higher education.
You will be responsible for securing partnerships with delivery centres and agent resellers internationally. You’ll have all the company’s research as well as your own market knowledge to identify target markets, as well as being a dab hand at producing business cases to support market penetration into these markets too.
It goes without saying that you’re driven, organised and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload, as well as having experience within the higher education sector and a genuine passion for the world of education.
To start with, you’ll be the only person in this department, so being hungry and determined to build your own pipeline is a must, but you’ll also have the opportunity to build your own team when the time is right to grow the department.
You are going to be treated like the professional you are – no micro-management, no being treated like a child – just support, encouragement, and the tools to do your job in the most effective way.
You will get a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 and be within a commutable distance of their offices in High Wycombe or Victoria, London – although this is a hybrid role, there will be a requirement to be in the office from time to time.
