The position:
- Work on critical data center systems (UPSs, PDUs, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls), as well as industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems
- Maintain the mechanical and electrical systems, the building and the performance of all the data modules in order to ensure continuity of services, as well as energy and budget efficiency
- Proactively participate in preventative and corrective actions like: audits; risk analyses; implementation of improvement and crisis-management plans
- Use the BMS (Building Management System) and all available systems to perform regular walkthroughs and keep the monitoring on site up to date
- Support and monitor the maintenance service providers and keep up to date the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Engage directly with the customers, suppliers and other third parties
You the contractor:
▪ Technical training (advanced technician or engineer level) in electricity (electric generators, UPS, low-voltage distribution),
▪ A plus will air conditioning, fire and physical safety and security (access control, video and anti-intrusion systems) or centralized building management systems
▪ Experience in working as a technician, ideally in Critical Facilities Management
▪ Proven knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems and building management/automation equipment
▪ Proven skills in the use of software, such as, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and MS Project will be a plus
▪ Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to following up actions
