The Role

Following a number of recent accomplishments, the consulting arm of this business is planning to double in size in the next 12 months and as such, they are looking for skilled professionals who are keen to have a direct impact on the evolution of their practice.

Anmut are looking for a Data Engineer that will be a part of a brand-new team, where you will be working to design and implement data pipelines by demonstrating your technical experience in a range of different technologies.

Main Duties

  • You will be interacting heavily with the front-end developers when building data pipelines
  • You will be involved in data modelling when it comes to representing logical or conceptual data models into physical models that will scale and have high availability in the business
  • You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical experience in the Data Engineering space
  • You will work closely with the Data Architect when it comes to interpreting user requirements, prototypes and pilots when building out the data models.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Previous experience of setting up and creating an interface with API’s
  • Python Experience
  • Data Modelling background (Logical, Physical and Conceptual)
  • Nodejs Experience
  • Traditional Data Engineering experience (ETL pipelines)

Desirable

  • SPARQL
  • ArangoBD – experience working with relational SQL databases
