We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong general IT technical background, exposure to DBA & Weblogic skills and practices, and experience with cloud migrations and agile tools such as Jira.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain & improve the operational quality of the IT systems in scope
- Incident & Problem management
- Implementation of Technical Lifecycle en Security Requirements
- IT Service Continuity Management (Prepare, Plan IT Emergency Exercises & Disaster Recovery Exercises)
- Maintain & Update technical documentation
- Support the design and implementation of the cloud-based architecture target picture of the IT systems in scope
- Support continuous improvement of our agile way of working and mindset within the IT team


Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in continuous improvement /Automation (Jenkins or similar CI systems)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in and a general understanding of networking standards and technologies, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, firewall rules, load balancers, etc;
- Good understanding of on-premise system monitoring tool(s);
- Knowledge of Database Administration (Oracle);
- Knowledge of Weblogic;
- Minimum 3 years experience in Azure/AWS services. Practical experience in cloud migration is a strong plus;
- Practical experience with Git source control and GitHub
- Understand DevOps practices;
- Well-developed research and analytical skills with good problem-solving and lateral thinking ability to challenge, conceptualize, and recommend simpler, improved, and alternative solution(s);
- Ability to provide advice and feedback, share knowledge, face challenges, and handle pressure;
- Being a team player as well as ability to work independently with reliability and integrity;
- Quick learner with the ability to learn new skills/technologies from scratch;
- Behavioral traits such as the right attitude (i.e. positive can-do, can-bounce-back), motivation, taking initiatives, organizational skills and effective time management.
