Our client, a thriving family-owned business in the events industry, is seeking a skilled finance manager to join their team in Sheffield.

As finance manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company. You will have the autonomy to implement new procedures, choose software solutions, and play a part in the hiring process for new finance team members.

With multiple events happening simultaneously, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payment of sub-contractors and staff, as well as invoicing clients and monitoring payments coming in – to ensure efficient cashflow through the business.

You will also be tasked with preparing operational reports for the MD and providing financial analysis and recommendations. This role requires a solid understanding of technical accounting and previous experience using Sage.

The ideal candidate will be based in a commutable distance to the Sheffield office and be comfortable with flexible working arrangements after the probation period. A competitive salary of up to £40K (depending on experience) and a generous holiday allocation are on offer for the right candidate.
