Head of Marketing & Digital Recruitment

McGregor Boyall are currently hiring for a Head of Marketing & Digital Recruitment. The successful candidate will inherit an established team of three Consultants. You will need to guide and manage the existing Recruitment team and build and grow out the practice. The aim is to take this to a team of six within the next 18 months. You will also be responsible for developing new business and building and managing a new area yourself, with the assistance of a Resourcer. This is a hands-on billing and Managing position with both personal and team based targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with our existing client base to develop these accounts
  • Manage, coach and develop the existing team members
  • Build out the practice to increase the team size to six in an 18 month period
  • Manage your own desk, ideally bringing in new contacts and growing our client base
  • A key focus on Business Development to win new accounts
  • Working closely with our Marketing team to help build the teams brand
  • Working closely with the Talent Team in order to support on your hiring needs
  • New Starter training and coaching, team appraisals and regular one to one meetings

Key experience / skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing Recruitment is key, alongside some Digital (non Tech) experience such as Product / Strategy / Digital Marketing
  • A good understanding of the Marketing Communications sector
  • Evidence of having built a desk through Business Development
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Experience of managing and developing a small team
  • A creative approach with the ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with external and internal stakeholders
