My client is an industry leading print business, established over 60 years ago they are a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the industry. Based at their Runcorn facility, they are currently seeking experienced Inbound Scanning Operator to work within their Inbound Mailing environment.

The ideal candidate will be required to sort Inbound Mail, complete simple document scans/data capture to document scanning and data extraction process using OPEX scanning machines, secure cash handling and processing of payment cheques and other methods of payment. You may also be required after training/instruction to perform duties within other areas as required

This role is working on a day shift pattern, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
Some flexibility may be required around these hours due to workload demand.

The Role

• Sorting of Inbound Mail
• Data Capture using hand scanner
• Document image capture using OPEX scanning environment
• Processing of payment cheques / cash / CAF payments etc
• Production of MI reports
• Ensure all work is produced timely and accurately
• Completes quality checks
• Makes minor adjustments to machines where necessary
• Proactively assists other areas as necessary
• Understand lean manufacturing tools
• Active engagement in all 5s activities
• Follows the scheduled to do list

The Person

• Computer literate in Word/Excel (essential)
• Can accurately input data into a computer
• Can work well in a team as well as independently
• Professional and positive attitude
• Previous experience operating Document Scanning equipment (highly desirable)
• Organisational and communication skills

Salary + Benefits
Salary £18,800, plus benefits including overtime paid at 1.75x base rate, excellent private pension scheme, competitive holiday allowance (25 days), and more.
