We’re searching for a Sales Manager to join a professional body in the exciting and rapidly growing field of academia.
This is a B2C role, where you’ll identify and engage with international based students who are interested in pursuing a UK accredited programme, which gives students the opportunity to progress to a full degree either in the UK with one of the businesses University partners, or online, via a top up which will also lead to a UK degree.
To start with, you’ll be the only person in this department, so being hungry and determined to build your own pipeline is a must, but you’ll also have the opportunity to recruit, develop and manage your own team when the time is right to grow the department.
A key part of this role will be to research and create business plans, detailing your route to market; so being able to identify risks, barriers to entry, costs, outreach methods required and support needed from other departments is a key requirement for this role.
It goes without saying that you’re driven, organised and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload, as well as having experience within the higher education sector and a genuine passion for the world of education.
You’ll have a proven track record in B2C sales, ideally in student acquisition of online programmes, and if you are fluent in other languages, this would be a huge advantage too.
You will get a salary of £45,000 and be within a commutable distance of their offices in High Wycombe or Victoria, London – although this is a hybrid role, there will be a requirement to be in the office from time to time.
