IT Operations Analyst

I am working with one of the UK's largest food production companies that are looking to bring on a Level 2 Operations Analyst to their rapidly growing Operations team.

Their operations (both physical and IT) are hugely impressive and requires constant monitoring and management.

The Operations team are responsible for ensuring the companies’ IT infrastructure remains, performant, up-to date and healthy. The role is not user facing, so you will not be answering calls, you will be completing planned maintenance such as window server OS patching and monthly reboots.

The role will be based at the companies’ head office, which is based in Northamptonshire, NN13.

The Operations Team has a working rota based on a 3-week cycle: (each day they work 8am – 5pm) – 40-hour week.

More about the day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as an escalation point for Operation Technicians
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault diagnostics
  • Lead weekend maintenance activities

Who you will be:

  • Worked in an IT operation team
  • Strong PowerShell skills
  • Analytical thinker / problem solver
  • Windows Server experience
  • Worked in a shift pattern before
  • Microsoft qualified
