IT Project Manager

Have the desire to be creative and do some good for others at the same time?

Well, then here’s your chance to help change society for the better. Now that’s quite a big claim, but don’t worry keep reading, we can back it up.

You’ll be at the forefront of turning cutting edge ideas into reality. Websites and apps can have an amazing impact on the modern world, it’s 2020, things have changed dramatically this year and everything is being made easier and smoother. You’ll be an advocate of that ease and how to create it.

You’ll be getting involved in a range of sectors including health, science, engineering and social care – a nice variety to keep you busy. Yes, the work will be challenging and diverse, but it just means your projects will never get boring and you won’t be stagnant on the same work, day after day.

You’ll have certain fundamentals that should really go without saying but we’ll mention them anyway.

You’ll have previous client facing experience, including working with clients on a project basis. You’ll have a passion for innovative technology and the know-how to bring these ideas to life. It would be to your advantage if you have a 2:1 degree or higher and SaMD project management experience. Don’t panic if you haven’t though, we’d still like to speak with you. Knowledge of agile project management, Prince2 and software development experience would also be nice to haves.

Enough about the requirements though – what’s in it for you?

You’ll be on £28,000 to £38,000 depending on experience. 25 days holiday (and your bank holidays), plus the option to buy 10 more. Not enough time off? You can take a 4-week sabbatical every 5 years too.

If you don’t have your health you haven’t got anything, so life, critical illness and income protection cover will help with that. Your long-term goals will also be taken care of with £1,000/5 days per year contributed towards training alongside regular mentoring and career advice.

Like free stuff? Who doesn’t – free fruit, hot drinks and fortnightly lunches at local restaurants. You’ll be joining a sociable bunch and regularly get out for quizzes, games nights, films, punting – the list goes on.

Part time 80% FTE will be considered for this position.

Let’s have a chat. You can send me a connection and a message on LinkedIn (Will Grashoff), or you can send me your CV through the portal if you’ve got one (I know not everyone does). If you’re a talker, my number is on our website.

Every applicant will receive a response.
