Marketing Manager

We are KOMI, a social media, marketing and licensing group focused on making social simple and taking creative content to the next level. Specialists in paid social, community management, content production, content distribution and video licensing.
Operating and launching some big brand campaigns from our Manchester HQ, our staff headcount has grown exponentially in the last year and we are only getting bigger. Our industry experts are able to navigate the ever-changing social sphere and deliver the best results.
The KOMI Group houses our creative agency specialising in working with talent, KOMI Social, our owned media agency, KOMI Media, whose content generates 1 Billion + views per month and ARK, a full-service licensing agency specialising in acquiring and distributing the best videos to high profile clients. We want you along for the ride!

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join KOMI, who will be responsible for creating and implementing a world-class b2b marketing strategy.

Day-to-day?

  • Create and deliver the marketing plan & shape budgets around this
  • Generate qualified inbound leads from the marketing activity you put in place for the sales team to pick up and deliver on
  • Organising events & attendance at trade events
  • Generate speaking opportunities for the senior team at key events to help build brand awareness
  • Nurture our existing early-stage prospects that are not yet qualified sales lead to help engage them with the brand and progress them through the marketing and sales funnels
  • Own the website including content and marketing strategy for it
  • Manage social media activity, including building an industry-leading presence on all major social media channels
  • Manage prospecting campaigns on LinkedIn to generate inbound leads
  • Report openly on your activity and successes

Requirements:

  • Level 4 CIM qualified (preferred)
  • Experience of creating b2b marketing strategy (preferred)
  • Experience with content marketing, SEO and PPC (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone
  • Stamina, persistence, enthusiasm, motivation, and a proactive manner
  • Initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense, and problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise and cope with last-minute changes
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
