My client, based in Stockport, are seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join their team on a permanent basis. Working on a 3 shift pattern – 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am - you will be required to work on these shifts on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:

• Using various Finishing machinery but primarily guillotines and folders
• Running “test sheets” to ensure final product is in line with customer requirements
• Reporting ordering or printing issues to shift managers
• Ensuring both quality and speed of work is maintained throughout
• Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner in order to meet the despatch deadline
• Maintaining machines to a high standard ensuring minimum downtime
• Assisting with machine fixes and new parts as an when required
• Keeping machines and operating areas clean and tidy throughout the day
• Any other duties deemed within your skill set

Experience/Skills Required:

• Ideally an experienced all-rounder who has experience of using folders, guillotines and stitchers
• Experienced in litho print and finishing processes (desirable)
• Strong work ethic
• Flexible attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Self-motivated
• Excellent eye for detail
