Print Procurement Manager

Our client is a very well-established name in large format print, point of sale and retail installations. Due to strong business growth they are looking to add a Procurement Manager to the business. This is a new role and is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a forward thinking, progressive business with a great industry reputation.

As Procurement Manager, you are responsible for sourcing and purchasing the best quality goods and services at the most competitive prices. You will be involved in sourcing suppliers, negotiation and managing suppliers through the whole procurement process. You will also deal with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.

The Role


As a procurement manager, you'll need to:

  • Forecast levels of demand for services and products
  • Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
  • Negotiate and agree prices, monitoring the quality of service provided
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as account handlers, planning, sales, and customers
  • Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy

The Person


Ideally, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • A proactive, confident nature and calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the Print Industry


Salary and Benefits
Salary on offer is up to £35,000 based on experience, plus benefits including private pension scheme, 24 days holidays plus Bank Holidays. This position is a full-time office-based role working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
