This role would be hire #6 for this client and I focus on this client for a very good reason.. they make my job a whole lot easier in terms of who they are and what they do!

They started this company with a goal — a goal to be the very best. They don’t just believe it; they know their team is our biggest asset. They are a group of passionate innovators (*nerds), obsessed with personal growth, that believes in challenging the status quo to ensure we come up with the best solutions.

They have a phenomenal culture, unparalleled drive, and every single person in our team is very carefully selected to make sure they maintain this. They are diverse, and we celebrate that. They are whole people, with families, hobbies and lives outside of work and make sure they have a healthy work-life balance. They are rapidly expanding and on a growth trajectory which would rival anyone in the Data and BI space in the UK!

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager/Data Architect that will be integrated into their project team, supporting the definition, implementation and deployment of end-to-end data solutions.

The key responsibilities will be to gather their client’s user stories and requirements to locate any business issues or inefficiencies and provide recommendations (principally through implementing technological solutions).

You will know how to investigate, analyse, visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts, and make disciplined decisions based on available information.

Other responsibilities will be to manage the full lifecycle of some projects you are responsible for, from discovery, estimation, deployment and post-implementation review. You will ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget and of high quality. In addition, you will take ownership of project risks, issues and resolutions.

What skills will you need

You need to have a combination of both soft skills and practical skills. Often working between the project team and a particular business area it is essential that you have good negotiating skills, are a great listener and are skilled at dealing with conflict.

You will have good experience project managing Data related projects including on prem to cloud and Business Intelligence technology implementations (amongst others!)

You come from a Consultancy background so you understand the pace that comes with working across multiple clients simultaneously.

You know about agile methodology and can apply an agile mindset to all aspects of your work.

You are well versed in requirements definition, gathering and management.

You will be working with clients across multiple sectors including Paddy Power, Legal & General, Selfridge, UNICEF and many more!

You will be highly valued as a real subject matter expert when it comes to project managing and you will have the autonomy to shape the role.

Interviews are set to take place asap as their pipeline of work is incredible! Double digit growth!

Please send me your CV by applying to this advert and I will give you a call to discuss the role in more detail.
