React-Native/Javascript Developer within FinTech

About the job:
We are looking to hire a strong Front-end Developer into the Native Apps team in our Platforms Technology department. This is a great opportunity for a talented developer wanting to work on an engineering challenge while gaining unique front office experience at a leading Financial Technology firm. The team is responsible our native app shells which bring the trading platforms to any device type.

The responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain and release iOS and Android apps for a leading investment application using React Native and some native bindings
• Develop, maintain and release the a desktop app for macOS and Windows built in Electron
• Assist external partners with white label app solutions

Your profile:
You are passionate about technology and frontend development with focus primarily on JavaScript. As a person you come across as a good communicator with a passion for what you do. You have a strong sense of quality, and a will to succeed. At the same time you recognize that challenging problems are best solved through collaboration and that team work is essential.

We expect you to meet the following qualifications:

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• An interest in learning or already have experience with React-Native/React
• A degree in Computer Science or at least 4 / 5 years of professional experience.

Apart from the qualifications above we are very interested in hearing from candidates who also have experience in the following:

• Experience in Swift, Objective-C and/or Java, Kotlin
• Feels at home in a command line interface and have experience with shell scripts
• Experience with Electron and an interest in trading / investment
