We are currently seeking a recruitment consultant that has a proven track record of delivery and is able to grow market share and manage existing client relationships within the Asset Management space for Risk & Compliance across the Greater China Region.

The Team

ConnectedGroup's Financial Services team is one of the most high performing business units within ConnectedGroup's Asia operations.

The team works with a diverse range of clients, Ranging from Tier 1 Bulge Bracket Investment Banks to smaller sized Asset Managers running significant Asia AUM. The team currently consists of five seasoned recruiters with strong track records. Coming off a strong 2015 the Financial Services team are looking to expand coverage capabilities heading into 2016

The Role

This role will have a market focus on Risk & Compliance within Asset management. The ideal candidate will have worked in the capacity of a Financial Services Recruitment Consultant previously with this core coverage; Mid-Back Recruiters focusing on other business areas are also welcome to apply. The desk has extremely good relationships and is at a point where it needs an experienced consultant to manage existing mandates in addition to helping the business further build


This is a fast-paced discipline and we are keen to speak to people who have thrived in such environments. This role is well suited to ambitious individuals. The successful hire will have experience working with multiple clients whilst maintaining exceptional levels of service.

  • Recruitment experience within Financial Services (open to recruiters from other disciplines but existing knowledge and Capital Markets relationships are required)
  • Excellent client communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Sound understanding of the recruitment industry, current market conditions and relevant legislation challenges
