Senior Data Engineer – Fully Remote
Brio Digital is excited to partner with a scaling EU-based HealthTech product business who are looking to scale their data platform to meet the immense demands from their customers. Key to this is to hire an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help lead the migration and evolution of their data platform. Some of your key focus areas will be to work on scalable data pipelines, work with distributed systems and modern data tooling while further shape the architecture of the next-generation data stack.
? What You’ll Do
- Lead a major migration to a self-hosted data stack (Snowplow, Kafka, ClickHouse, Trino, Spark, S3).
- Build and optimise high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Automate workflows and improve orchestration.
- Enhance reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency across data systems.
- Support data governance, tooling, and performance optimisation.
? What You Bring
- Strong experience in Data Engineering and distributed systems.
- Experience working on heavy consumer focused environments / domains.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud/object storage (S3).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Airflow or dbt.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
? Nice to Have
- Snowplow experience
- Knowledge of data governance, ML pipelines, or real-time analytics
- Experience working with Ruby on Rails.
