Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer | SAAS Start-Up | London (3/2) | £70,000+

Grit Tech Talent is working closely with a growing SAAS business with a global client list that is fantastically backed by world-class angel investors.

This is a super exciting point in the business, with an ambitious roadmap, growth plans and several tech challenges to overcome.

Coupled with excellent communications skills and a passion for learning we are looking for a Developer with solid (4+ years) experience with our Rails stack:

• Ruby on Rails

• Sidekiq

• Puma

• PostgreSQL.

Additionally, experience with AWS and terraform would be nice to have.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Be a subject matter expert on Ruby on Rails and its software patterns.

• Write high-quality, well-tested Rails software and take full ownership for feature delivery.

• Recommend best-practice approaches and provide timeline estimates.

• Develop integrations with external systems, possibly contributing to open-source projects.

• Contribute to code reviews and offer your perspective on user experience.

About You:

• You have the desire to lead, design, and implement features in a small but growing Rails application.

• You have a track record of turning complex business requirements into elegant, well-tested code.

• You have experience creating stable and reliable integrations with external systems.

• You take pride in delivering products that have a positive impact on the daily lives of customers.

Salary and Package

• c£70,000 + share options scheme.
