I’m hiring a Senior Software Architect for a networking platform with over 16 million members.
The System Architecture team maintains and develops platforms that allow all other business units to develop, run and monitor their applications, you’ll work with outstanding colleagues, contribute to an inspiring environment and have the flexibility of working in a fully remote capacity should you wish.

Tasks include:
Implement robust, scalable, and highly optimised infrastructure components
Improve and maintain existing application code
Review and optimise our software and system architecture
Evaluate and recommend new technology to improve the existing ecosystem
Take ownership of platforms that improve the daily lives of several hundreds of developers
You’ll need extensive experience in web application architecture (scalability, availability, APIs), expert Ruby skills and competency in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Java, JavaScript, Scala, C/C++, Elixir
This role is going to best suit an English speaker with demonstrable experience in working in a Tech lead, Architect, or Lead engineer role with experience of running containerised software (Kubernetes in particular is a major plus)
Although a fully remote role, the perfect candidate will live in either Germany, Spain, Austria or Portugal.
