Edge Tech is working exclusively with a Series-B funded Conversational AI vendor who have been recognised by Gartner as a ‘Cool Vendor’ which are scaling at a rapid rate.

Due to their success and continued expansion globally, they are growing their platform team and looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their high-performing tech team in the UK.

With a client list that includes big names such as Starling and Metro Bank you'll be joining a credible player in the AI space and will be responsible for ensuring stability, scalability and reliability of our client’s core service offerings. You’ll empower your peers and influence decision-making within the SDLC.

On top of this you will handle the implementation and maintenance of all existing and new software giving you the chance to explore new and exciting AI opportunities. You will also contribute to design discussions and lead through example to junior members of the team acting as a mentor.

Required Skills & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding, or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of commercial software development experience for global PAAS platforms.
• Experience with RestFul API development experience at scale.
• Non-relational and relational data architecture with expertise building scalable, reliable architectures.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Go or similar.
• Experience with one or more cloud services (such as AWS, GCP, and Azure).
• A background in professional software engineering best practices, such as coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, and testing.
