The Company
Finalto operates in the space of over-the-counter trading. Their core offering is a proprietary and real time trading platform (ClearVision), to brokers and institutional clients around the globe, based on liquidity from Tier 1 banks in London.
ClearVision R&D is Finalto’s development hub in Denmark with responsibility for application maintenance of the ClearVision platform.
Business is growing and Finalto is looking for Senior Software Engineers for ClearVision R&D.
The Team
ClearVision R&D is a dedicated team working on the ClearVision Trading platform providing real time pricing, risk assessment, and order execution with sub-millisecond latency and the ClearVision Back Office system that process all aspects of a trading day. The demands for precision and performance of Finalto's solutions are high and they maintain full control of our technology stack.
Finalto works agile in a fast-paced industry. Their work environment is characterised by openness, commitment, delegated responsibility, and teamwork.
You will be working closely with two other development teams, an ITOps team within ClearVision R&D in Copenhagen, and the B2B business units in London, Singapore, Australia, and USA.
The Job
You will become part of the Trading System team responsible for the core services that provide functionality such as price generation, risk assessment, order execution and automated hedging.
The latency sensitive nature of Finalto's services provides a constant motivation to go beyond regular software development and take into consideration the interplay between Finalto's code and the hardware.
As a member of Finalto's team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle from idea through specification, implementation, and test to supporting their solutions as they go live. You will also feel the support of the entire team when you take deep dives into the technology stack and ponder on the intrinsic of the JVM.
But the job is not only about technology. You will need a sound understanding of both Tech and FX-trading to make the right decisions. In Finalto's line of business the devil is in the detail, and the stakes are high.

The Workplace
You will be working in our office at Amerikakaj, Copenhagen, currently housing 30 employees of ClearVision R&D. Finalto has an excellent lunch arrangement, free soft drinks and snacks, and have plenty of social events, such as eating out, go to a bar, gaming nights, etc.
Onsite work is mandatory for a minimum of 40% to secure cooperation and coherence within the team.
