Feelgood is looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer / Platform engineer) for our digital development team. As an SRE, you are responsible for developing and monitoring the development, test and operations environment as well as the CI/CD environment for our systems together with development teams and in consultation with our IT operations provider.
As an SRE, you work in the digital development team under the leadership of Feelgood's CTO, but you will also support Feelgood's CIO and IT manager in matters related to development, test and operation environments and support tools. We have a product-based development organization and we work according to a modern agile/DevOps-based development process. We have a CI/CD and operations environment that enables fast and daily releases. We normally work in two-week iterations with prioritization and reconciliation meetings once a week.
Job duties
Ensure a suitable application operating environment. Responsible for contact with Feelgood's IT operation supplier in matters relating to the development and application operation environment.
Ensure that the CI/CD and operational environments for our development and test tools are working, and participate in the selection and development of these tools.
Ensure that performance, availability and security requirements are met, including using performance and penetration tests as well as working recovery routines.
Participate in the planning and design of development and maintenance efforts for our products together with developers.
Competency requirements
Relevant university education in system development and/or IT.
Programming competence in one or more programming languages as well as experience in automation of operation and monitoring.
Experience in system administration of networks, servers and Linux systems.
Experience with container-based deployment solutions such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes and/or other orchestration tools.
Experience in system operation and SAAS solutions, as well as operation of database solutions, primarily no-SQL based but also SQL-based databases.
Experience of IT security work.
Experience in planning and project- and product-based work.
Good ability to communicate about technology in both speech and writing.
