Full Stack Software Engineer – TypeScript | React | AWS | Terraform
Hybrid – Leeds (1 day/week)
Rate: £500/day Inside IR35
Duration: 3 Months - Likely to extend
We’re working with a fast-growing tech-first company looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join their product engineering team. If you're passionate about building robust, scalable applications and have solid experience with TypeScript across the stack, React, and AWS, this is a great opportunity to make a big impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building modern, scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
- Developing and maintaining backend services (Node.js/TypeScript), integrated with AWS
- Working on infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, helping to maintain reliable, reproducible cloud environments
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and DevOps teams in a modern agile setup
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a strong emphasis on quality and best practices
Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), REST APIs, AWS Lambda
- Cloud: AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Infrastructure: Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Tooling: Docker, GitHub, Jira, Slack
What we’re looking for:
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript (frontend and backend)
- Solid understanding of React and component-driven development
- Commercial experience building cloud-native applications with AWS
- Some exposure to Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong collaboration skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset
